Course Description:

This workshop covers the use of very powerful conditional functions in Excel which can greatly increase the flexibility of your formulas by allowing for variable outcomes.  Use these functions to calculate total expenditures within specific funds, determine a variable’s value based on specific criteria, and more! Functions to be covered include: IF, SUMIF/AVERAGEIF/COUNTIF(S), IFERROR, and logical operators (AND/OR/NOT).  We will practice with financial, organizational, and research data.  (**Prerequisites: at least a basic working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and simple formulas.)
