Course Description:

In this self-paced course, you will learn what High Performance Computing (HPC) is and how to properly use University of Wyoming’s HPC resources. This course only covers the basics and is intended to guide new users away from developing bad habits on shared computing resources. It covers how to get an account on UW’s Teton supercomputer, it’s policies for use, and submitting jobs with the SLURM job scheduler. At the end of the presented content there is a short quiz to test your knowledge.
