Full course description

Description:

This workshop is only available to University of Wyoming employees.

Annual Performance Evaluations are essential to organizational success. They enable employees to review their workplace objectives and productivity, as well as establish new targets for the upcoming year. Despite their importance, supervisors are finding the process increasingly burdensome. Due to heavy workloads and numerous direct reports, supervisors are struggling to dedicate sufficient time to employee evaluations.

This course, Leveraging AI for Effective Performance Reviews, is designed to assist supervisors in streamlining the employee evaluation process using Generative AI software. New technologies, such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, can quickly analyze vast amounts of information and produce valuable insights, thereby serving as powerful tools to optimize and expedite performance reviews. Supervisors should, nonetheless, utilize Generative AI software as a guide rather than a replacement for their employee evaluations because human oversight is still critical.
