Course Description:

In this two-day long ‘boot camp’ we will introduce the scripting language Python and how it can be used to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data for a research question. 

The first day will be an introduction to Python, cover some often used packages, and visualization. The second day will cover the topic of machine learning in Python, using images of road signs to classify them for an algorithm used in a situation such as a self-driving car.  

This boot-camp is presented by the UW Advanced Research Computing Center (ARCC).  

Date/Time: August 9th and 10th (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM both days)
