Course Description:

This training is designed to help University of Wyoming individuals and departments choose the most suitable storage solutions for managing digital assets. It offers a comparison of available options and provides specific procedures and practical tips to guide informed decision-making based on departmental needs. Bring questions! Topics include:

• Comparison of UW's Warehouse, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint
• Strengths, limitations, and best uses for each storage platform
• Best practices for sharing files and maintaining security/business continuity
• This course does NOT provide hands-on instruction on managing storage or creating a SharePoint site, nor does it cover non-UW storage such as Google Drive or DropBox
