Full course description
Course Description:
Artificial intelligence offers powerful tools to make meetings more productive, from smart summaries to searchable recordings. But with these features come important questions about privacy and data protection. This workshop will explore how Zoom’s AI works, what it can (and can’t) do, and the potential risks to sensitive information. Participants will learn practical steps to configure AI features safely, recognize when not to use them, and safeguard their own and others’ privacy. By the end, you’ll be ready to take advantage of Zoom’s AI while staying in control of your data.
Topics include:
- Features and use-cases for Zoom's AI Companion
- Privacy concerns with Zoom's AI
- Privacy concerns with third-party AI notetakers (such as Otter.ai and Read.ai)
- Steps to mitigate privacy risks in Zoom
